but our ponies would get tired if we rode all day!
Each day we work on a quality art project to develop our kids' creative side. Some example projects include photography, wood burning, drawing, batik, and painting.
We also participate in team building activities, free-style use of the play structure, nature walks, and of course, barn chores!
Horsemanship is more than Riding!
You will learn about the wide world of horses including horse breeds, colors, conformation. Find out what they eat and drink (and how much!), and how they are cared for. If you are lucky you will get to meet our Farrier or Vet on their routine rounds.
Kids generally are found in Families!
We aim for Camp to fit into your life. Camp activites are planned ALL DAY, and optional before and after care is available.
CIT's help make sure our campers are safe and happy! Available to teens age 13-16 with some horse experience. CIT's are not reimbursed monetarily, but gain excellent experience as they work with kids and horses under the leadership of SCS Counselors.
